Jim Thomas: The Ultimate Black Belt Negotiator
Jim Thomas — The Ultimate Black Belt Negotiator
Jim Thomas put himself through law school at William & Mary by teaching karate and working as a bouncer and dormitory resident advisor. He went on to a career as a negotiator and attorney, and brings both halves of that background to this interview: what a martial artist already understands about leverage, patience and controlling distance, and how those instincts translate to a lease negotiation, a vendor contract or a staff agreement.
