Behind the Scenes with the Top 1%

School Owner ProfilesBehind the Scenes with the Top 1%

How the operators at the top of the martial arts school business actually run their schools: who trained them, how their schools are built, who is on the team and what they measure.

Most of what a school owner hears about other schools is a result: a revenue figure, a student count, a screenshot. Behind the Scenes with the Top 1% is about the part behind the result. Each profile sets out the owner’s training and lineage, the history of the school, the people who run it day to day, and the specific practices families see when they walk in, in enough detail that another owner can compare it with their own floor.

Profiles are written in a standard format: key facts first, then background, the school, the team, the owner’s wider work, and a question-and-answer section. Figures are the owner’s own and are attributed to them. Where the person profiled works with this magazine’s publisher, Grand Master Stephen Oliver, or with Martial Arts Wealth Mastery, the profile says so, in line with our editorial policy.
