Become Big by Thinking Big

To achieve your goals, you must learn to think big. Always aim high. Don’t look at the crossroads or you will see walls and barriers, which will obstruct your path and impede your progress.

Move forward by looking at the sky and your opportunities will be unlimited. At the same time, you must pursue realistic goals and not just pipe dreams.

You don’t want to just run a small mom-and-pop-type operation with 2 or 3 school locations. You have to think corporately. Extend your reach and provide a life-changing experience to hundreds, thousands and even hundreds of thousands of potential students.

To achieve this goal, you must have a system: A finely tuned operation that can be taught to and replicated by a growing staff.

This is one of the reasons I created the TNT system. It stands for Tae Kwon Do N’ Thai boxing, a unique combination of martial arts and training techniques, packaged so that others can easily incorporate the system into their schools.

Now, I want to take my system to all schools. The secret is that the system can be duplicated, and then repeated again and again.

Just like StarbucksTM or McDonaldsTM, there is a method to perform every necessary task and function. The method is tried and tested, perfected, and then taught.

One of the lessons is to think big always, and in all matters. You must develop a thinking-big attitude and lifestyle, so it permeates everything you do.

You must start from the basic level and follow through to your ultimate goal of success, whether you are teaching students, training instructors or choosing a program director.

Then, you must follow through at all levels and ensure that all the members of your organization, such as instructors, follow through, as well.

“You must develop a thinking-big attitude and lifestyle, so it permeates everything you do.”

As part of your system and your way of thinking big, you must focus on the big picture. Large issues and subjects, and overall goals. Like the book states, don’t sweat the small stuff.

If you spend your time focusing on minor items and worrying about small matters, then you will never reach your larger goals.

That is why you need a big, corporate attitude.

If you are working with an individual student, don’t just think of that person as a member of a group class. Look to bring him or her forward into bigger and better things: Private lessons, leadership and CIT training and lifetime membership. The possibilities are only limited by your way of thinking and your actions, or inactions.

When planning your school’s future, don’t think of one location. Think of multiple locations, an entire network of schools.

That goal is within your reach when you start with a system: The TNT system.

You don’t need to reinvent the wheel. You learn and adopt our winning ways with a system that is proven and guaranteed to work. You then operate each location and each phase of your business the same way.

The only way to become big and successful is to learn such a system, and then apply it to everything you do.
