71-Year-Old Karate Black Belt Foils Car Thief

Wojciech Chomicki, 71, a pensioner living in Plock in northern Poland, may have appeared to be a easy mark for a would-be car thief, but he picked the wrong man because Chomicki, a Black Belt in Karate, has more than 50 years of training and has been a qualified teacher in Shotokan Karate for more than 30 years.

According to police reports, Chomicki spotted the thief from his kitchen window and ran to this car, hauling the thief from the driver’s seat and pinning him to the ground with a chokehold. The police officers stated that the alleged thief seemed quite relieved to be released from Chomicki’s gri

  1. Well done Mr Chomicki! Its a shame some people do not want to work for a living. Hopefully his lucky escape might encourage him to do something usefull with his life - maybe take up karate or some other kind of disciplined Martial Art.
