Thanks for all your help and great encouragement in our time of need, but I have a beef with this article: The radical left or gutlessness in martial arts. Tom Callos’ article is at best socialism: don’t help, don’t be involved, fight only for self-defense, stand up only if it involves you, and fighting is only for the ring.

While fat cat politicians who send poor kids from Michigan to fight useless battles for nothing (but in the name of FREEDOM) is at the bottom. The poor kids referred to are true heroes, as is most of my family and many students and friends, being that I have grown up in a military family and community. Yes, I have seen what war causes, but “ALL EVIL HAS TO DO TO PREVAIL IS FOR GOOD MEN TO DO NOTHING.”

Mr. Callos, I hope that you are never in a compromised situation and no one will help because it is not his problem. Mr. Callos, I believe in only one of your views in this article and that is the title, as for the rest of the article and your views I strongly disagree. Remember, many Americans have died, so that you can have your view.
