I read your commentary in the February issue of Martial Arts Professional.
It was so nice to see someone who has seen the light through all this Monnnnnnney making pitch of martial arts. Your statement was exactly what I believe regarding “lets make more and more money regardless of what is being examined in the dojang. Stephen Oliver’s rebutle was very typical of protecting his wealth. I just quit Napma because as you stated it is 90 percent money money money and 10 percent martial arts. I have a school of approx 200 students in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada and doing for the same reasons as you to bring my community together for them and myself to teach sound martial arts at an affordable price. Not at a inflammed price in order for Stephen and the rest of Napma marters to get very rich off our hard work and dedication. I have been in Taekwondo for 31 years and teaching for 26yrs. I am very happy and have a school that I can be proud of. You did a brave and commendable thing by writing to them indicating what many must see….I hope. Thank you again and all the best for you and your academy.<
